This course is an introduction to organic chemistry as it applies to hydrocarbons. This course also includes some content specific to the LNG production process.

Learning Objectives:

- Describe the molecular structure of hydrocarbons
- Define vapor pressure
- Define specific gravity
- Define boiling point
- Define the concept of “isomers”
- Explain some of the uses of various hydrocarbons
